Based in Los Angeles, she teaches studio and online classes and continues to lead outdoor sessions in local parks. She also hosts annual yoga retreats in Japan, bringing students closer to nature and cultural nourishment.

She studied Anthropology at Waseda University in Tokyo and spent a year at USC on a university exchange program.

Fluent in English and Japanese, Chigusa integrates creativity and joy into her daily life—both on the mat and underwater, where she explores breath, calm, and fluid movement.
