Chigusa Saga is a devoted Iyengar yoga teacher who has immersed herself in the world of yoga since 2000. After exploring various schools of yoga, she was captivated by the precision and versatility of Iyengar Yoga. In 2015, she traveled to Pune, India, where she studied with Gita and Abhijata Iyengar at Yoganusasanam.

Chigusa spent three years apprenticing with Marla Apt and earned her certification as an Iyengar Yoga Teacher (CIYT) in 2016.
Having assisted in Iyengar Yoga Therapeutics at IYILA for several years, Chigusa delved into the therapeutic applications of Iyengar yoga.
She firmly believes that yoga enhances physical strength, flexibility, mental stability, and stress resilience, cultivating a deeper appreciation for life.

With her detail-oriented teaching style, coupled with genuine dedication, Chigusa continues to inspire and empower her students in their yoga practice.

Beyond her studio classes in the Los Angeles area, Chigusa also teaches online.
Amid the challenges of the pandemic, she seamlessly transitioned her teaching to virtual platforms, offering engaging classes and workshops on Zoom. Additionally, she conducts invigorating outdoor sessions in a local park every Sunday.

Fluent in both English and Japanese, she integrates her passion for yoga's relaxation aspects into underwater swimming, showcasing her innovative approach to well-being.
